DESCRIPTION:Join us on Friday\, December 8\, for a special holiday treat as
  Harrisburg Civil War Round Table member and veteran Lincoln presenter Jam
 es Hayney portrays the 16th President of the United States while discussin
 g Lincoln’s deep and abiding love of Pennsylvania.&nbsp\;\nMr. Hayney\, 
 a Camp Hill resident and professional actor\, has spent much of the last t
 wo decades keeping history alive in central Pennsylvania and beyond.&nbsp\
 ; He has portrayed Lincoln in a two-act play entitled “Mr. Lincoln\,” 
 in a commercial for the History Channel\, and in an interactive “Meet Mr
 . Lincoln” video that plays daily at the National Civil War Museum where
  viewers can ask Lincoln hundreds of questions.&nbsp\; He is much in deman
 d as a speaker for schools and corporate groups\, and appears frequently a
 t events in Gettysburg.&nbsp\; He appeared at the National Portrait Galler
 y in Washington\, D.C. on the occasion of President Obama’s first inaugu
 ration\, was grand marshal for the Pennsylvania Farm Show\, and threw out 
 the first pitch at a Harrisburg Senators baseball game.&nbsp\;\nHe will ad
 dress Lincoln’s Quaker family roots in Pennsylvania\, his travels in the
  state\, the role Pennsylvania played in helping him win the Republican Pa
 rty's nomination for President in 1860\, and his admiration for how the Co
 mmonwealth helped to bring the Civil War to a successful conclusion\, amon
 g other topics.&nbsp\; He will draw on his many years of Lincoln scholarsh
 ip to answer questions from the audience at the end of his presentation\, 
 and will pose for individual and group holiday photos with our members.\nT
