Membership/Donations

Membership is open to any person who is interested in supporting and participating in the mission of the organization, which is:

• To provide a congenial medium through which persons having an interest in the American Civil War may satisfy that interest and broaden their knowledge of the subject.
• To provide discussion, lectures, field trips, and a manner of exchanging books, papers and other information and material pertaining to the subject among our members.
• To support the preservation and protection of the battlefields, historic sites, landmarks, relics, memorabilia and other collections of materials pertaining to the Civil War Era.
• To honor those who served in this American Civil War and to preserve the valor of their lives in memory.

Membership is for a period of one year and includes the HCWRT newsletter, “The Dispatch.” Membership dues are due starting July 1st every year. We target September and October for the collection of annual dues from membership. 

Annual membership dues are as follows: Individual $30, Family $45, Full-Time Student $5.  Use the mail-in membership form or the online membership link at the bottom of this page to reenlist and pay dues.

Membership Dues Policy for New Members:

• Any dues paid after October and through February will be collected at full rate.
• Any dues paid March through April will be charged at half the annual rate.
• Any dues paid after May 1st will be considered dues paid for the following Campaign year.

Donations:

In addition to payment of membership dues, the HCWRT gladly accepts donations from its members to help defray the many costs associated with running our Round Table and to support our preservation efforts.  Dues and donations may be tax deductible; consult your tax advisor to see if you qualify.  Upon request, the HCWRT Treasurer will issue 501(c)(3) letters to those who need substantiation of their payment of dues and/or donations for tax purposes.  Use the mail-in membership form above to make donations or the donation button below.
